Education project will aim to intervene at several levels, the chief of which is the provision of scholarship to at least 100 pupils, as well as direct support to schools and municipal institutions involved in education.
Project Description:
Education in the Republic of Kosovo is bound to every area of life; especially because a lack of development in this sector is correlated to a broader problematic economic and social context. Thus, educational activities remain an important part of FKL’s work, aiming to contribute towards an improvement of the education system in the target municipalities: Viti, Kaçanik, and Kllokot.
The education sector has two main components:
- Scholarships (aiming to increase school attendance);
- School-Based Initiatives (aiming to improve the quality of education);
Region of Implementation:

Specific Objectives:
- The importance of equal access to education (regardless of socio-economic and ethnic background) and of regular school attendance is conveyed to high school pupils, in particular to girls, to pupils living in rural and/or marginalized communities, and to pupils from ethnic minorities;
- The teaching and learning process is improved in target municipalities by providing schools the necessary incentive to reflect on their needs;
